Details | This annual stroll through London’s vibrant east end has a different route again. Meet from noon at The Cock Tavern, 315 Mare Street, E8 1EJ. The Cock sells a wide range of handpumped beers and ciders and can be reached by London Overground (Hackney Central) and various bus routes. We’ll then make our way via various other pubs to the Pride of Spitalfields, 3 Heneage St, London E1 5LJ. |

Details | The pub is only 2 minutes walk south of Parsons Green underground station on the Wimbledon branch of the District Line. The meeting will start at 12.30 prompt in the upstairs function room. The White Horse usually offers 6 draught beers and there is a discount for CAMRA members. We will again not be offering a buffet, but there is a very good kitchen with a good menu. Order at the bar and say charge to the SPBW account. This way we usually get a good discount thanks to one of our M&B shareholders. Payment will be collected separately by the treasurer. Details | There will be live music on a Wurlitzer organ during the festival. There is a cafe on the premises. Set-up will be on Monday 26th through to Wednesday 28th and take down on Sunday 1st June. Any SPBW member who is interested in helping out (volunteering) either during the set-up or take down or pouring pints on the actual festival dates Thursday 29th, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st please reply to the contact below. There will be 2 shifts per day on the Festival days: noon to 5.30 PM and 5.30 PM to 10.30 PM. Volunteers can do some or all shifts. Sustenance per shift will be provided. |
